Gluten-Free Dairy-Free Scones

Gluten Free – Wheat Free – Dairy Free – Sugar Free Option – Vegan

Ingredients

  • 200g Dove’s Farm gluten-free flourGluten-free Scones
  • 60g ground almonds
  • 1 dessertspoon wheat-free baking powder
  • 60g dairy-free margarine (Pure or another brand) straight from the fridge so it’s firm
  • 60g caster sugar
  • 1/4 pt soya milk or less

Directions

  1. Combine the flour and baking powder
  2. Add marg (cut into small cubes) and mix with fingertip until like breadcrumbs
  3. Stir in sugar
  4. Mix in soya milk with a fork, making a sticky but not squishy dough. Mixture is fairly moist, so if you can’t roll it out just place spoonfuls on a baking tray-brush top with soya milk or push into scone cutters from above removing carefully
  5. Bake at 200c for 10-15mins until golden brown

Serve with dairy-free clotted cream and strawberry jam.

Sugar free alternative:
Leave out the sugar and serve with nut butters and sugar free fruit spreads
